This fixed claytonrite window seal has two gaps; 3mm and 0.8mm to 1.6mm. One gap is for the panel and the other gap is for your glass, Perspex or acrylic window. They are interchangeable so can be used either way around. This glazing window rubber will seal approximately -1mm. For example, you can insert a 2mm to 3mm thick panel into the 3mm gap but we would not recommended inserting a panel thicker than 3mm into this gap as you risk subjecting the seal to additional pressure which may cause unwanted water ingress.
The web thickness between the two gaps in this window rubber is 6mm. This is how much smaller your glass should be on all four sides in relation to the size of the hole (aperture).

This window rubber requires a filler strip to apply compression onto the panel and glass. This creates a strong compression fit that helps prevent moisture and contributes to dry interior, no matter the external conditions. We also recommend that you bed the rubber onto the wall of your caravan or motorhome with a silicone sealant. This will help take up any imperfections in the wall of your van and create a long-lasting watertight seal.

These carriage charges will be automatically calculated at checked based on your delivery address and the products in your basket.
We strive to ensure you are completely satisfied with your purchase. However, we understand that sometimes a product may not be what you expected. In such cases, you are able to return your item for a refund. As the vast majority of our products are customised to your length requirement at the time of order, there will be a 20% restock charge applied to any returned items. This is to cover the costs associated with processing the refund and storing the returned item until someone purchases an identical length. We are also unable to refund the outgoing shipping charge, and you are responsible for the shipping costs associated with getting the product back to us.
In the rare event that the product you have ordered is out of stock, we will notify you as soon as practically possible that there will be a delay receiving your goods.
The majority of our products are cut to order and can be purchased in a continuous length suitable for your requirements. However, some products are sold in set lengths or quantities. Please enter the length that you require into the quantity box. For example, if you enter 3 into the quantity box, you will receive a continuous 3 linear metre length. This length will be supplied as a continuous piece up to the maximum length of the roll. This is usually up to 10 metres.
