Opening Window Seals

Double glazed windows are an essential feature in modern caravans and motorhomes, offering superior insulation against both temperature extremes and external noise. The effectiveness of these windows is heavily reliant on the quality of their seals as this is the part that creates a tight barrier and prevents moisture ingress and air leaks.

These windows are usually fitted with an opening window seal that holds themselves onto the wall of your van and compresses to create a watertight seal when the window is closed. They are available in a large selection of sizes to suit most caravan and motorhome makes and models. These products are designed to fit different wall thicknesses so can be identified by measuring the thickness of this panel on your van.

They are manufactured to maintain the integrity of your double glazed windows, ensuring that they perform optimally in all conditions and maintain the insulative properties of your window. We manufacture all of our double glazed window seals from high-quality rubber compounds that are chosen for their durability, flexibility and resistance to environmental factors. These seals can withstand exposure to UV, varying temperatures and moisture to ensure long-lasting performance without degradation.

These profiles are usually fitted with a coloured cover strip, also known as an insert strip, which hides the screws and stables that hold the rubber seal onto the body of your van. This cover strip is available in grey, black or white depending on your colour preference and whether you wish to match the colour of other fixtures and fixings on your caravan or motorhome.
