Our 2 part waterproof contact adhesive is supplied in a 250ml tin with a 9g curing agent. This adhesive is able to provide a high-strength waterproof bond and can be used on a variety of materials commonly found on a caravan or motorhome, including rubber, metal, plastic and wood. Its superior adhesive properties ensure a strong bond that withstands stress and wear, making it perfect for both heavy-duty industrial applications and everyday household repairs.
This product consists of a two-part formula which is designed to create an instant high-strength bond upon application. The two components work in synergy, with one part providing the initial grab strength and the other ensuring a waterproof seal. This instant grab feature eliminates the need for clamping or prolonged pressure.
Our contact adhesive also has an exceptional water resistance. Once cured, the bond remains impervious to water, making it perfect for use in areas exposed to moisture or direct water contact. This makes it an excellent choice for outdoor applications, as well as for bonding materials that are used on caravans and motorhomes that are subjected to the stress of travel.
Prior to using this adhesive you will need to prepare the surfaces that you plan to join. This preparation involves sanding the surfaces and cleaning them with a solvent. Make sure that they are completely clean, dry and free of dust, oil or any other impurities. For mixing the adhesive, blend equal parts of the components (for example, half a tin with half a bottle) and stir them together by hand for about 3-4 minutes. The mixed adhesive should be used within 4 hours of preparation.
Start by applying a single layer of the adhesive onto each of the surfaces and leave it to dry for 10-20 minutes. After this initial drying period, apply a second layer to each surface and again wait for a further 10-20 minutes. After waiting for the solvent in the mixture to evaporate, press the two surfaces firmly together. The surfaces will bond immediately upon contact.

We strive to ensure you are completely satisfied with your purchase. However, we understand that sometimes a product may not be what you expected. In such cases, you are able to return your item for a refund. As the vast majority of our products are customised to your length requirement at the time of order, there will be a 20% restock charge applied to any returned items. This is to cover the costs associated with processing the refund and storing the returned item until someone purchases an identical length. We are also unable to refund the outgoing shipping charge, and you are responsible for the shipping costs associated with getting the product back to us.
In the rare event that the product you have ordered is out of stock, we will notify you as soon as practically possible that there will be a delay receiving your goods.
The majority of our products are cut to order and can be purchased in a continuous length suitable for your requirements. However, some products are sold in set lengths or quantities. Please enter the length that you require into the quantity box. For example, if you enter 3 into the quantity box, you will receive a continuous 3 linear metre length.
